Pureweb: the power of partnering with one.com
We share the story of Pureweb, a Danish website building company created by university friends Marcus Brumfield and Sylvester Nielsen.
Initially meeting in 2023 while students at the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, the two decided to collaborate and go into business together. With a mutual interest in front-end design, building websites was a natural fit, and thus Pureweb was born.
Why one.com?
The two were introduced to one.com during their studies, where they used it to host websites for schoolwork, including portfolios and class projects. After establishing Pureweb, they began to see that their clients’ pain points could be resolved with one.com’s service:
“When we started Pureweb, we noticed clients who didn’t own their domains, and who generally had a hard time wrapping their heads around aspects like buying a domain and selecting a hosting plan,” they observed.
Having previous positive experiences with one.com, they thought of a potential partnership opportunity.
“We then got the idea of getting into a partnership with one.com, where we could host all of our clients’ domains through one.com,” they continued.
“That way, we can handle all the technical stuff, and our clients can more or less watch their new website go live without moving a finger.”
